Each potential patient who visits Arrowhead Clinic is given a free consultation.
The Chiropractor will first require all the standard paperwork to be filled out before they begin your consult. Once the paperwork is complete, the doctor will ask questions to get a complete understanding of your current and past medical history. Asking questions about your past medical history will ultimately help when determining your diagnosis and treatment plan.
Some of the questions we will ask about your pain condition include:
- How did your pain begin?
- Were you involved in an accident?
- When did your pain begin?
- Are there any activities that make your pain worse?
- Does anything make your pain better?
- Is your pain constant?
After you have answered all of the doctor's questions, they will perform a physical exam to evaluate your range of motion, balance, muscle strength and muscle tone.
Next, the chiropractor will complete a series of x-rays to help determine the underlying cause of your pain condition. Once the x-rays are complete, the doctor will be able to provide you with a diagnosis and treatment plan.
Before you leave the office, you will have a full understanding of your treatment moving forward, along with having received your first chiropractic adjustment.
