Dr. Valentina Adcock was born in California and raised in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Adcock began her Undergraduate studies in Biology at The College of Charleston, and later transferred to Life University in Marietta, GA. She finished her Bachelor's Degree concurrently while acquiring her Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree in 2018. While studying at Life, Dr. Adcock always knew she had a passion to help people achieve better health. After a very impactful experience while interning with a Chiropractic neurologist, and learning how structure equals function, Dr. Adcock's background with health and fitness was a huge part of how she got into Chiropractic. Dr. Adcock now educates her own patients on the health and performance benefits of regular wellness-based chiropractic care. People tell her they appreciate her “patient focused" practice.
Understanding the importance of integrating natural healthcare into mainstream medicine, Dr. Adcock works closely with medical doctors when referrals and/or co-management are appropriate. Dr. Adcock utilizes a wide range of techniques that are gentle and low-impact, including Activator instrument adjusting. She is proficient in several manual techniques as well including traditional hands-on Diversified, Extremity Manipulation, SOT, Thompson, and Flexion Distraction, to name a few. Her specialties include rehabilitating disc injuries, automobile accidents, and soft tissue injuries.
Dr. Adcock is a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic in Georgia. She is board certified in Radiography, Physiotherapy, X-ray Supervision and Operation.
Dr. Adcock lives in Atlanta with her boyfriend and pup, Buford. In her spare time, Dr. Adcock enjoys painting, cycling, traveling, spending time with family and friends and volunteering her time with local charities/events in Atlanta.
